Minor a.s. was established in 01.02.1994.
The aim was to act as consultant for ship-owners and shipyards in repair and new-building of vessels.

Minor a.s. became agents for several shipyards in the Baltic countries, and was responsible for a huge number of repairs and new building of vessels.

In 2001, Minor a.s. got new owners, and the new ownership changed the company into shipping and trading of aggregates, for concrete and asphalt, as well as other building materials, mainly from Norway to dedicated areas in Europe.

In May 2002, Minor a.s. bought 33% of the shares in a Danish trading and consultant company, named Hans Nielsen Handels & Konsulentfirma A/S, and it was decided that all trading activities should be in this company, and Minor a.s. should act only as a streamlined shipping company, as shipowners, shipagent and shipbroker.
The managing director of Minor a.s at the same time also became manager of Hans Nielsen Handels & Konsulentfirma A/S.

01.11.2007 It was agreed upon that Minor a.s should take over the remaining 67% of the shares in Hans Nielsen Handels & Konsulentfirma A/S, which hereafter became a 100% daughter company of Minor a.s.

20.05.2008 A new daughter company was registered, Minor Rederi P/F. The company is situated in Torshavn on the Faroe Islands, and is a ship owning company.
Per today the company ownes one selfdischarging vessel “MV Henriette” – 4200 dwcc. The vessel is on t/c to Minor a.s.

01.09.08 Hans Nielsen Handels & Konsulentfirma A/S, changed name into Minor Danmark as, and same day Minor Danmark as, moved into new office facilities.
The new name and address: Minor Danmark as, Dybvadgaardsvej 8 – DK-9325 Dybvad.

We expect to continue developing our business areas in shipping and trading of aggregates, And we are always open to new ideas for further developments.
